RUSSIA
Soyuzrossahar reports, as of September 3, 2018, bulk volume of 3.7 million tons of sugar beet was harvested (in 2017 - 5.3 million tons) and 437,000 tons of beet sugar produced, which is 186,000 tons less than the same period last year (in 2017 - 623 thousand tons).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 4, 2018, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 368894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 269694 MT from 7 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the analysis of figures by the Statkom of Kazakhstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, the wholesale price of sugar from producers (excluding excises and VAT) did not change and amounted to 161292 tenge / kg in August 2018, or RUR 29,716.28/ton, at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the middle of the reporting month.
GEORGIA
According to the National Statistics Committee, in August 2018 consumer sugar prices fell by 0.75% compared to the previous month, and by 18.2% year on year (August 2018 by August 2017).
UKRAINE
On September 3, 2018, five sugar factories are processing beets harvested in the new season, according to Ukrtsukor.
UZBEKISTAN
Consumer sugar prices declined in August 2018 by 0.7%, vs. the last month and by 12.3% compared to August 2017. The average consumer price of sugar in the markets was 5.026 soums/kg (RUR 43.27/kg) on August 28, 2018 according to the State Statistics Committee.
