RUSSIA
In Stavropol the sowing of sugar beet on 31.9 thousand hectares (or 100.0% of the plan) was completed on April 21, the regional agriculture ministry reports.

According to preliminary data published by ROS AGRO PLC, revenue of the sugar segment of GC Rusagro for 3 months of 2018 decreased by 30% to 5.2 billion rubles due to the fall in sugar prices and sales volumes by 16%.

BELARUS
On April 20, 2018, total area of 49 thousand hectares was sown with sugar beet which makes 49.7% of the plan (in 2017 - 54.7 thousand hectares), according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
UKRAINE
By April 20, sugar beet sowing was performed on an area of 191 thousand hectares, which is 63% of the forecast, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said.
