According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-December 2020, conducted by Sugar.Ru, import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 1883 MT (110.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 150626 MT (64.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For December 2020 import of sugar has made 236 MT, export - 10522 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (21.7%), Denmark (17.3%), Poland (15.6%), Other countries (45.4%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Turkey (15.5%), Uzbekistan (12.5%), Armenia (7.6%), Other countries (64.5%).
Import of molasses (HS code 1703) has made 23268 MT (113.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 14344 MT (40.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For December 2020 import of molasses has made 1184 MT, export - 572 MT.
