Export and import of white sugar in January - November 2021 2021 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in November 2021 Russia has imported 19.6 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 11 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 146.9 thousand tons (in 2020 - 172.0 thousand MT; in 2019 - 285.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2021, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (72.69%) and ALGERIA (7.49%).

In November 2021 Russia has exported 47.7 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 11 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 397.4 thousand tons (in 2020 - 994.7 thousand MT; in 2019 - 473.9 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2021, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (62.01%) and UKRAINE (15.86%).
