According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-December 2021, conducted by Sugar.Ru:
- import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 163724 MT (8695.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 25533 MT (17.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For December 2021 import of sugar has made 128 MT, export - 1945 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Brazil (72.8%), Poland (17.2%), Belgium (2.7%), Other countries (7.3%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Israel (18.7%), Armenia (18.6%), Azerbaijan (14.0%), Other countries (48.8%).
- Import of molasses (HS code 1703) has made 4943 MT (21.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 14070 MT (98.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For December 2021 import of molasses has made 0 MT, export - 4358 MT.
