According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-September 2021, conducted by Sugar.Ru:
- import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 163329 MT (12740.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 2592 MT (3.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For September 2021 import of sugar has made 111 MT, export - 367 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Brazil (73.2%), Poland (17.2%), Belgium (2.8%), Other countries (6.8%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Israel (36.1%), Germany (25.4%), Moldova (15.0%), Other countries (23.6%).
- Import of molasses (HS code 1703) has made 4434 MT (27.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 762 MT (11.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For September 2021 import of molasses has made 644 MT, export - 46 MT.
