RUSSIA
The duty on the import of raw sugar to Russia (and, respectively, to the CU countries) has grown to make US$ 240 for metric ton in March 2016. In April 2016 the fee will not change and will remain at US$ 240/MT. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the stock exchange "The ICE" was US$ 293.19/MT in January.
UKRAINE
Sugar prices in Ukraine are growing because of the uncontrolled export, claims Alex Doroshenko, the director of Ukrainian association of suppliers to retail chains. The expert has noted that due to the shortage of domestic sugar after a while there arises a need to import cane sugar to Ukraine.

By the end of the week the sugar prices remain in the same price range: wholesale selling price is UAH 13750-14000/MT, as of March 3, 20163.
KAZAKHSTAN
According monitoring data by Sugar.Ru, in the two months of 2016 Kazakhstan has received 5.9 thousand tons of sugar delivered transit Russia (in 2015 - 22.5 thousand tons), of which 5.6 thousand tons arrived from the countries outside the Customs Union.
