RUSSIA
NCSP (Novorossiysk sea port) reports that the volume of transhipment of sugar in 2015 amounted to 932 thousand tons, thus has decreased by 237,900 tons, or 20.3% compared to volume moved in 2014.

It is projected to increase sown area of sugar beet to 1.07 million hectares in 2016 (up by 52 000 hectares from 2015 acreage), while production of sugar beet should grow to not less than 37.8 million tons, Deputy Agriculture Minister Yevgeny Gromyko has briefed.

According to customs declarations of FCS, Russia imported the 5500 tons of white sugar from countries outside the Customs Union in December 2015. By the end of 12 months the volume of white sugar imported to Russia has made total 58,200 tons (in 2014 – 97.7 thousand tons, in 2013 – 63.7 thousand tons). In 2015, the main countries supplying sugar to Russia were Poland (34.52%) and Lithuania (28.39%). The largest importers of white sugar in 2015 season are "Megabalt" (25.94%) and OOO "Rostrading" (20.21%).

In December 2015, Russia exported 400 tons of white sugar to countries outside the Customs Union. By the end of 12 months the volume of white sugar export from Russia has made 4.9 thousand tons (in 2014 – 7.9 thousand tons, in 2013 – 3800 tons), the main countries for imports of Russian white sugar were Jordan (33, 54%) and Ukraine (21.43%). The largest exporters of white sugar for 12 months are "Altai Flour Mills" (33.54%) and JSC "Valuykisahar" (11.60%).
KYRGYZSTAN
State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation has approved wholesale prices on molasses obtained from the processing of sugar beet harvest in 2015 at 6.8 thousand Kyrgyz Soms per ton (about RUR 7300/MT at the current rate of CBR), when sold to domestic consumers.
AZERBAIJAN
Imports of raw sugar and sugar to Azerbaijan amounted to 266,300 tons worth US$ 114 333 300 in January-November 2015, which is 28.8% less than the same period of 2014, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.
