RUSSIA

The average consumer price of sugar has decreased to RUR 53.87 per 1 kg in October 2015, which is RUR 1.42 less than a month ago, according to Rosstat.

According Soyuzrossakhar, by November 30, 2015 Russia has produced more than 4.3 million MT of beet sugar from harvest-2015, thus the total production of sugar in the 2015-16 season is expected to reach 5.1 million MT, which is 660,000 tons more than in the season 2014, in its turn this will result in the reduction of raw cane sugar imports next year by more than 2 times down to 300 thousand tons.

 
KYRGYZSTAN

The average retail price of sugar has increased by 3% during October 2015, and made 6% higher compared to October 2014, according to Ministry of Economic Development.
UKRAINE

From November 20 to November 30, the average consumer price of sugar rose by 0.9%, from UAH 15.18/kg to UAH 15.31/kg, reports the State Service statistics.

Over 2 000 tons of state owned sugar was illegally taken away from the warehouses in the Cherkassy region over the last week, Oleg Lipovoy, Acting General Director of GSBU, said.
