According to the figures by the Ministry of Agriculture dated November 10, 2015, the country has harvested 36.3 million tons of sugar beets from the area of 960,900 ha (94.6% of total acreage); the average yield makes 37.81 MT/ha. Soyuzrossahar reported that Russia has harvested 981 thousand ha (96.0%) by November 10 gaining the average yield of 37.8 MT from hectare. Bryansk, Ryazan and Saratov regions have completed harvesting campaign.
Lipetsk farmers have finished harvesting sugar beets with a record result – collected over 4.1 million tons of beets; the average yield has reached 38.8 MT/hectare. Lipetsk regional sugar mills have processed more than 2.5 million tons of beets and have produced 386,800 tons of beet sugar by November 11.
According to the railway shipments monitoring by Sugar.Ru, Russia has exported 8546 tons of white sugar in 10 months of 2015 with over 52% of exported volume shipped to Kazakhstan.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, consumer prices for sugar increased by 3.9% in October 2015; from the beginning of the year the growth made 17.2%.
According to Statistics Committee, the average consumer price of sugar is equal to 13194 Belarus Roubles / kg in October 2015 (RUR 48.23/kg at the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation), which is Br 654 more than a month ago.
Losses of "Kaindy-Kant" in the third quarter of 2015 have reached 196 million 843 thousand 728 soms (RUR 182.45 million at the current rate CBR), according to a company report.
