According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 455,600 ha (44.9%) as of 1 October 2015; total volume collected makes 17.2 million MT with yields of 37.79 MT/ha.
According to operational data as of October 2, sugar beet was harvested from 12 875 hectares (58%) in the Altai Territory. Gross harvest is estimated at 439 000 tons, according to the regional administration, the average yield makes 34.1 MT/ha.
The aggregated processing DC on beet of the eight sugar mills in Kursk region is 27 400 tons. As of October 2 plants have received 746,000 tons of sugar beet, including 570 thousand tons processed with 81 400 tons of sugar produced, according to the regional administration
 
According to the rail cargo monitoring data by Sugar.Ru, 64,800 tons of white sugar (50,400 tons of which were supplied from Ukraine) were delivered to Kyrgyzstan transit Russia in January-September 2015.
The volume of white sugar import to Kyrgyzstan has amounted to 60 900 tons in January-May 2015 for total value of US$ 34.5 million (an increase from the level of imports in 2014 has made 214.3% or more than double).
According to the Statistics Agency sugar prices from manufacturers increased by 12.8% in September 2015.  From the beginning of the year the growth has made 5.1%.
Nikolay Yarchuk has resigned from the position of Chairman of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine "Ukrtsukor." Mr.Andrey Dykun has succeeded Nicholay Yarchuk office.
