RUSSIA
According to the monitoring data by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russian, the country has processed 564.8 thousand tons of raw sugar and produced 553.5 thousand tons of sugar in 2015, as of July 20, (less by 4.6% than in 2014). Volumes of import of raw sugar in January-July 2015 (as of 19 July) have dropped by 9.7% vs. those in 2014. During the week of July 20 to 27, the wholesale price of sugar has increased by 2.8%, retail – by 1%.

According to the GC "Rusagro", the volume of sugar production in the first half 2015 has amounted to 183 thousand tons (down by 19% vs. 2014), sales volumes of sugar have made 353 thousand tons (less by 9% compared to 2014).
