According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of November 19, 2020, sugar beets were harvested from 916.4 thousand hectares or 99.2% of the crop acreage; bulk harvest makes 33.3 million tons; average field yield is 36.29 MT/ha.

On November 19, 2020, 3 sugar contracts were sold at NTB. The total volume of sales has made 260 MT at the average price of RUR 40723/MT (US$536.35/MT at the exchange rate of CBR on date indicated). Trading session closed at $536.04/MT (CFO).

As reported by NASU "Ukrtsukor", Ukraine produced 744.6 thousand tons of sugar and processed 5.64 million tons of sugar beet as of November 19, 2020.
KYRGYZSTAN
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry initiated a proposal to ban the export (export) of certain types of agricultural products to third countries, including sugar (TN VZhD 170199).
