Export and import of white sugar in January (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in January 2020 Russia has imported 5.8 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 1 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 5.8 thousand tons (in 2019 - 26.3 thousand MT; in 2018 - 25.7 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (95.55%) and USA (1.66%).

In January 2020 Russia has exported 55.4 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 1 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 55.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 11.1 thousand MT; in 2018 - 96.7 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (23.48%) and TAJIKISTAN (15.71%).
