Sugar stocks with the agricultural enterprises amounted to 466.85 thousand tons as of November 1, 2019, which is 2 times higher than as of November 1, 2018, the State Statistics Service reports. In January-October 2019, farmers have sold 626.1 thousand tons of sugar.

According to the State Statistics Service data for January-October 2019, the total sales of sugar produced in the country amounted to UAH 9441.4 million excluding VAT and excise tax (about RUR 23,610 million at the average exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for 2019). Of which, the amount of sugar sold outside the country amounted to - UAH 707.9 million (about RUR 1770 million), which makes 7.5% of total sales.
