RUSSIA
According to the analytical service of Soyuzrossahar, in 2019 the volume of beet sugar export may reach over 500 thousand tons for total value of 150-160 million US dollars, which will be the second best following the 2017 figure, when more than 570 thousand tons were exported. The major sugar importing countries in November were: Republic of Kazakhstan – 38.5 thousand tons, Republic of Uzbekistan – 22.1 thousand tons, Republic of Tajikistan – 14.2 thousand tons, Republic of Azerbaijan – 10.0 thousand tons. Shipments by road transport continue, which are estimated at 30 thousand tons since the beginning of the year.
UKRAINE
As of November 29, 2019, 8.43 million tons of beets were processed and 1266.2 thousand tons of sugar produced, Ukrtsukor reports.
