MOLDOVA
According to forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, the country will harvest 650 thousand tons of beets and produce about 45 thousand tons of sugar, which will be quite sufficient for the domestic market. In 2019 the total area of sugar beet crops is 16 thousand hectares.
BELARUS
According to the Statcom, in July 2019 (vs. June 2019), consumer prices for granulated sugar increased by 0.17%, and from the beginning of the year (compared to December 2018) - decreased by 0.21%. The average consumer price for refined sugar 1.52 bel. rub / kg in June was (46.90 rubles / kg at the average rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for July 2019).
