RUSSIA
The prices for refined sugar from industrial producers have made RUR 27.91/kg as of July 18, 2019 (-0.3% per week), according to the System of monitoring and forecasting food safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
KYRGYZSTAN
In Kyrgyzstan, the crops of sugar beet have made 14.3 thousand hectares in 2019 season, which is 1.9 thousand hectares less than in 2018, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
UKRAINE
The only sugar factory in the Sumy region (situated in Nikolaevka, Belopolsky district), has completed the previous season with over UAH 100 million losses and still has not paid off its debts. Today the plant equipment is being dismantled.
