TURKMENISTAN
Farmers of Mary velayat (region) plan to receive more than 200 thousand tons of sugar beet harvest this year, the local press reports. Sugar beet sowing is carried out at 14,900 hectares of land. It is planned to seed sugar beets in the territory of 17,900 hectares total in the Balkan and Mary velayats this year and to receive 224,000 tons of harvest.
AZERBAIJAN
According to the customs service of Azerbaijan figures, processed by Sugar.Ru, exports of sugar and raw sugar totaled 8.7 thousand tons in June 2019, in just 6 months of 2019 – 25.46 thousand tons (in 2018 - 20.81 tons thousand tons).
