RUSSIA
According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in July 2018 Russia has exported 529.3 thousand tons of beet pulp. According to the results of 7 months of beet pulp export campaign, Russia has shipped out 529.3 thousand tons (in 2017 - 328.6 thousand MT; in 2016 - 287.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2018, the main countries importers of beet pulp from Russia were LATVIA (30.75%) and NETHERLANDS (29.83%).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 11, 2018, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 368894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 300894 MT from 8 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
BELARUS
According to the "Belsahar" Association, as of September 11, 2018, sugar refineries in the country are processing sugar beets of the new crop: 245.8 thousand tons of sugar beet were harvested; 206.6 thousand tons were processed; 19.7 thousand tons of sugar was produced. The sucrose content in sugar beet at acceptance points makes 16.04% from the beginning of the season.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the average consumer price for refined sugar was BYR 1.52/kg in July (RUR 49.26/kg at the average exchange rate for August from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation).
UKRAINE
The season of sugar refining in Ukraine was officially launched on August 31, Ukrtsukor informs. On September 10, almost 20 thousand tons of sugar were produced out of 186 thousand tons of sugar beet processed.

National sugar reserves in Ukraine amounted to 500 thousand tons by the end of 2017/18 marketing year, which is 1.8 times higher than by the end of previous season, said the head of analytical services of Sucden (CIS) Marina Sidak. According to her, the season 2017/18 featured an increase of sugar production and a decrease of its exports and domestic consumption. In particular, sugar consumption in Ukraine amounted to 1.3 million tons, which is 8% less than in the previous season. This reduction is due to the economic situation in the country.
