In the southern regions, where “Sucden” farms operate, there was a lack of moisture, in the central regions a reduction in the vegetation period occurred because in the sowing time had shifted for two weeks. Following a wind erosion in Lipetsk region, 6% of the total area of sugar beet had to be reset, and 12% in of crops in Penza region, the representative of the “Sucden” group reported.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated June 26, 2018, total 9 vessels have been nominated to carry 337 694 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 186 694 MT from 5 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
