RUSSIA
Rusagro is planning to install a line for desugarisatiuon of molasses in the Belgorod Region (the first such line for 40,000 tons per year was launched by Rusagro in the Tambov Region). The construction costs will amount to 5.5 billion rubles, investments will be made in 2018 and 2019.

The annual sugar consumption in Russia this season (August-July) may exceed 6 million tons, predicts the leading expert of the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR), Evgeny Ivanov.
UKRAINE

According to Ukrstat, as of November 1, 2017, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 208.1 thousand hectares in Ukraine (106.7% compared to the same period last year). The volume of harvested beet makes 9.19 million tons (102.5% compared to the same period in 2016), the yield was 44.18 MT/ha (45.97 MT/ha in 2016).
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the analysis of data by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted by Sugar.Ru, production of sugar in the country amounted to 17,255.2 tons in October 2017, which is 34.92% more than in October 2016. (12788.8 tons).
BELARUS
According to Statkom of the Republic of Belarus, production of sugar increased over the month by 30.04% in October 2017 and has made 159.3 thousand MT (in October 2016 - 173.5 thousand MT). Production of sugar in January-October 2017 decreased compared to the same period last year by 26,20% and has made 428 thousand MT (in 2016 - 581 thousand MT).
