RUSSIA

The production of refined beet sugar in Russia has made 2.5 million tons in January-September 2017. Compared to 2016 season, the growth in production volumes has reached 39.9%, Rosstat reported.

According to FCS, in August 2017 Russia has exported 360.9 thousand tons of beet pulp. According to the results of 8 months of beet pulp export campaign, Russia has shipped out 360.9 thousand tons (in 2016 - 340.6 thousand MT; in 2015 - 256.5 thousand MT).In the period January - August 2017, the main countries importers of beet pulp from Russia were LATVIA (17.68%) and NETHERLANDS (17.53%).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 17, 2017, total 21 vessels have been nominated to carry 748 020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 575 270 MT from 16 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

BELARUS

According to the analysis of data by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, conducted by Sugar.Ru, the production of sugar in the country has made 122.5 thousand tons in September 2017. The industrial production of sugar has made 269.1 thousand tons in the Republic of Belarus in January-September of 2017.
