RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 3, 2017, total 19 vessels have been nominated to carry 675020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 575270 MT from 16 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

According to Soyuzrossahar, as of October 2, 2017, 545.5 thousand hectares or 45.5% of sown areas were harvested with 22.8 million tons of sugar beet collected at an average yield of 41.9 MT/ha. AS of October 3, 2017, over 2.0 million tons of beet sugar was produced from the beginning of the production season.
GEORGIA
According to the National Statistical Service, consumer sugar prices fell by 1.28% in September 2017, and on an annualized basis (September 2017 - September 2016) - by 2.92%.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the Federal Customs Service data for 8 months (January-August) 2017 on trade with countries outside CU zone, the imports of raw sugar (HS code 170114) fell significantly compared to last year, and amounted to 152.9 thousand tons (in 2016 - 265.4 thousand tons). Export of white sugar (HS code 170199) has made 5042.9 tons (in 2016 - 2139.1 tons), import - 5490.5 tons (in 2016 - 58.6 thousand tons).
UKRAINE
As of October 2, total 309.8 thousand tons of sugar were produced out of 2.35 million tons of sugar beet processed at 35 sugar plants operating in the country, Ukrtsukor informs.

BELARUS
As of October 3, 2017, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 36.8 thousand hectares or 37.6% of the area sown (in 2016 - 39.5 thousand hectares), the Ministry of Agriculture reports. Total 1661.6 thousand tons of beets (in 2016 - 1603.8 thousand tons) was collected at an average yield of 45.12 MT/ha (in 2016 – 40.64 MT/ha). The sucrose content in beet is 15.52% against 17.01% on the same date last year.
