RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 19, 2017, total 18 vessels have been nominated to carry 642 020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 575 270 MT from 16 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.Ru, Russia has exported 328.6 thousand tons of beet pulp in July 2017. According to the results of 7 months of export campaign, Russia has shipped out 328.6 thousand tons (in 2016 - 287.2 thousand MT; in 2015 – 229.2 thousand MT). In the period January – July 2017, the main countries importers of beet pulp from Russia were Latvia (19.41%) and the Netherlands (19.25%).
KAZAKHSTAN
According to Statkom, the production of sugar and molasses decreased by -5.11% in August 2017 and amounted to 26 927 tons (in 2016 – 48 693 tons, in 2015 – 9 000 tons). Total 226 615 tons of sugar and molasses have been produced since the beginning of 2017,.

BELARUS
By September 19, 2017, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 17.4 thousand hectares or 17.8% of the sown area (in 2016 – 20.8 thousand hectares), according to the Ministry of Agriculture. Total 760.2 thousand tons were collected at an average yield of 43.68 MT/ha, sugar content in beets was 15.27% in the country.
UKRAINE
In August 2017 the average price for white sugar from producers was UAH 12746.15 per metric ton (or RUR 27,952.43/MT at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). In July, the average price was UAH 12846.84/MT (RUR 28173.24/MT), according to Ukrstat.
