RUSSIA

The emergency situation mode was introduced in Mordovia in connection with waterlogging of the soil due to heavy rains. The area of perished crops is estimated at 8.6 thousand hectares. The most affected crops were sugar beet, barley, corn and winter wheat.

KAZAKHSTAN

Astana markets began selling sugar from the stabilization fund at a fixed price of 250-260 Kazakh Tenge per kilogram(RUR 45.53 - 47.35/kg).

ARMENIA

In June 2017, Armenia has imported 269.9 tons of sugar and raw sugar (HS Code 1701) for total US$ 159.1 thousand; and 404.8 tons of other sugars (HS code 1702) for total value of US$ 205 800 and 195.6 tons of molasses (HS code 1703) worth US$ 37 200, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
