Sugar enterprises in Krasnodar region will be launched to process new sugar beet crop in the coming days, namely:
- Dinskaya and Novokubansky factories will be launched on July 26; first shipments of fresh sugar are planned for July 28-29
- Tbilissky and Ust-Labinsky plant will start on July 28.07
- Gulkevichsky factory - on July 29.07
- Kanevsky, Kurganinsky, Timashevsky plants will be launched on July 30-31, first shipments of fresh sugar – from August 02.08

According to IKAR, the sugar beet crops, which have lagged behind in their development due to cold and rain in April-June, are now actively catching up with the backlog. IKAR does not change the earlier forecast of beet sugar production in 2017 – 6 million tons.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated July 25, 2017, total 15 vessels have been nominated to carry 518 110 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 323 910 MT from 9 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
According to Gosstat, in June 2017, 15 thousand tons of sugar confectionery were produced (-0.66% against the previous month and -6.83% by June 2016). The production of sugar confectionery amounted to 84.6 thousand tons since the beginning of the year (in 2016 - 86.6 thousand tons).
