RUSSIA
According to the monitoring data of Sugar.Ru, Russian sugar exports continue to decline. This is could explain sugar prices rising in Russia and a simultaneous drop in world prices for white sugar and raw sugar.

With the abolition of quotas for sugar by the European Union starting from October 1, 2017, Ukraine may lose export markets, Pavel Fesyuk, UkrAgroCom Director, fears. This will also contribute to the growth of land rent, the potential cancellation of the moratorium on the sale of land, the rise in price of energy resources and the growth of wages announced by the government.
