The Moscow Arbitration Court recognized the claim of "Rusagro"; to Agroholding "Razguliay" in the amount of about 1.9 billion rubles. Moscow Arbitration has previously appointed the session for February 9, to regard the claim of about 13.1 billion rubles indebted by "P-Holding", a subsidiary of "Razgulyai", to "Rusagro".

Self-supply of Russia with sugar has increased from 52% in 2010 to 94.7% in 2016, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev has announced.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the wholesale price of sugar decreased by 5.5%, retail - by 0.7% from January 17 to 23, 2017.

Olhovatsky Sugar Mill was recognized the best in Russia by output of sugar as well as it has become the leader of Voronezh region in terms of harvesting sugar beets according to the rating of sugar enterprises published by the Russian Sugar Producers Union. Second place in the ranking is occupied by "Chishminsky Sugar Plant" (Republic of Bashkortostan), the third place – JSC "Dobrinsky sugar factory" (Lipetsk region) and JSC "Zainsky sugar plant" (the Republic of Tatarstan).
UKRAINE
Wholesale prices of sugar fell by 1.04% over the week and were in the range of UAH 14100-14500/MT (RUR 31251-32137/MT) as of January 25, 2017. The reason of lower prices is weakening demand in the domestic market, according to "Agroperspectiva". The price for beet pulp ranges UAH 2800-3000/MT (RUR 6205-6649/MT).
