According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated January 17, 2017, total 43 vessels have been nominated to carry 1429950 mt of raw cane sugar in 2016-2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1254300 mt from 38 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

KAZAKHSTAN
According to the statistic committee, the production of sugar and molasses has decreased by 19.45% in December 2016 and has made 38 293 tons (in 2015 – 25 195 tons, in 2014 – 33 652 tons). Since the beginning of 2016 the country has produced 457 230 tons of sugar and molasses, which is 49% higher than last year and by 14% compared to 2014 volume.
