UKRAINE
Sea ports of Ukraine have moved 92 390 tons of sugar for export in the 11 months of 2016. Handling of sugar was carried out in Odessa and Ilyichevsk seaports, and has made 56 240 and 36 150 tons respectively.
According to the State Statistics Service, the consumer prices for sugar in the country increased by 2.7% in November 2016, from the beginning of the year - decreased by 2.8%, while year-on- year monitoring (November 2016 to November 2015) shows decrease of 0.3%.
TURKMENISTAN
According to railway monitoring data by Sugar.Ru, for 11 months of 2016 Turkmenistan has received 3100 tons of sugar transit Russia (in 2015- 4.4 thousand MT). The bulk supply of sugar was arrived from Ukraine (86%).
