RUSSIA
From the beginning of the season and by December 6, the sugar factories of Tatarstan have received 1,671,200 tons of sugar beet including 1.4664 million tons processed, the volume of sugar produced has made 215,330 tons, sugar production yield - 14.4%, according to Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was collected from the area of 1.0919 million hectares by December 5, 2016, or 98.3% of the crop acreage.

As of December 6 the sugar mills of Krasnodar region have received 11 million 836 thousand tons of raw material from which they have produced over 1 300 000 tons of sugar, which is an absolute record in the history of the sugar industry, the regional Ministry of Agriculture has announced.

The subsidiaries of "Prodimex" group have purchased at auction the property of the two institutions of Kursk based "Ivolga": "Bolshesoldatsky agroobedinenie" LLC and "Sakharinvest" LLC (aka sugar plant “Kollectivist”) for RUR 350 million.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated December 6, 2016, total 42 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 408 000 MT of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 191 800 MT from 35 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
By December 5, 2016 the 10 sugar factories have completed the season of juice extraction, the volume of sugar produced has made 1.74 million MT out of 11 860 000 MT of sugar beet, according to "Ukrtsukor".
BELARUS
According to "Belsahar", the national sugar industry has processed 3 395.0 thousand tons of sugar beet from which 501 400 tons of white sugar was produced by December 6, 2016. In 2015 on same day, the volume of sugar beet processed was 2 843 100 tons with 384,100 tons of refined sugar produced.
KYRGYZSTAN
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan suggests expansion of sugar beet crop acreage to 14 thousand hectares in 2017 season.
