The volume of investment to upgrade Bekovsky sugar refinery has made 85.1 million rubles in 7 months of 2016. Bekovsky sugar refinery has produced 66 700 tons of commodities for total over 2.335 billion rubles in 2015 season.

According Soyuzrossakhar figures dated September 13, sugar beet harvesting campaign continues in the Southern, North-Caucasian, Central, Volga and Siberian federal districts. The area harvested has reached 210 300 ha of crops (18.9% acreage).

According to the report of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, increase in sugar prices was 8.4% in July 2016 compared to December 2015 (in the same period in 2015 prices grew by 10.9%).

According to the Ministry of Agriculture update as of September 13, 2016, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 03.4 thousand ha or 18.3% of the crop area (in 2015 - 236.2 thousand hectares). Bulk harvest makes 8.8 million tons (in 2015 - 9.1 million tons), with the average yield 43.50 MT / ha (in 2015 – 38.57 MT / ha).
UKRAINE
According to the operative information by "Ukrtsukor" as of September 10, the average weight of sugar beet is 507 grams, which is 11% more than last year (453 grams in 2015). Crops of sugar beet in Ukraine suffer from the heat and lack of rainfall for already a month.

As of September 13 the country has produced 82.2 thousand tons of sugar, according to "Ukrtsukor". From the beginning of the season 654.7 thousand tons of sugar beet was processed.
