RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 184.4 thousand ha or 16.6% of the crop area as of September 12, 2016 (in 2015 - 196.1 thousand hectares). Bulk harvest makes 8.1 million tons (in 2015 - 7.6 million tons), with the average yield of 44.21 MT / ha (in 2015 – 38.98 MT / ha).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 13, 2016, total 33 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 130 300 mt of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 962 650 mt from 28 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
According to the local administration, Vinnitsa region has produced 39.5 thousand tons of sugar by September 12, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 6.2 thousand hectares (11.3% of the total crop acreage of 54.8 thousand hectares). Bulk harvest makes 305.8 thousand tons with an average yield of 49.12 MT / ha.

According to "Ukrtsukor&", the total area of sugar beet harvested makes 13 000 ha by September 12, 2016 (4% of the forecast), bulk harvest of beet makes 587,000 MT. The average yield of sugar beet in the country is 44.8 MT/ha.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the national statistics body, sugar prices continue to rise. In August 2016 the average consumer price for sugar has reached 56.40 soms/kg (+ 2.79% from previous month, and minus 0.65% from the beginning of the year) and + 6.87% year on year (vs. August 2015).
BELARUS
According to the national statistics committee, the growth of consumer prices for refined sugar has made 5.22% in August 2016; from the beginning of the year (vs. December 2015) the growth has made 20.69%. The price of sugar is equal to 16990 Belarus rubles per 1 kg (around RUR 56.5 rubles/kg at the current rate of the Central Bank).
