RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan, farmers have harvested 76,600 tons of sugar beet from an area of 2500 hectares (4%) by August 22, the average yield makes 30.1 MT/ha.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 36 400 hectares by 19 August 2016; the volume collected makes 1,643,000 MT at the average yield of 45.18 MT/ha.
KYRGYZSTAN
The management of Kaindinsky sugar factory (LLC "Kaindy-Kant") has informed that this year Kyrgyzstan plans to sow sugar beet at 10,800 ha in Chui oblast and 500 hectares in Talas oblast. Today the price of one ton of sugar beet makes 3450 KGS compared to 3250 KGS last year. The plant DC capacity on beet is 3,000 tons per day. The main season of operation: September to February. According to the Ministry of Justice, the founders of "Kaindy-Kant" include 137 shareholders, Alexander Vasilievich Shalyuta is the Director.
