RUSSIA
According to «Kubansaharprom», the sugar beet processing season in Krasnodar region will involve all 16 local sugar plants.
- Sugar plants launch is scheduled for:
- Tbilisi sugar plant – July 26
- Gulkevichsky and Dinsky plants – July 28
- Viselkovsky, Kanevsky and Pavlovsky plants – July 31
- The remaining 10 sugar plants will be launched in the period from 1 to 6 August.
The expected volume of harvested beet will increase by 20% and reach 8.0 million tons in the region. Considering the beet from the Stavropol and Rostov regions, sugar plants of the Krasnodar region will receive about 10.0 million tons of beets.
UKRAINE
The dynamics of development of sugar beet according to «Ukrtsukor» updated by July 20, 2016:
- Beet root mass – 279 grams (in 2015 - 238 g);
- Gain of the roots weight, in a decade – 76 grams (in 2015 - 62 g);
- Foliage mass - 367 grams (in 2015 - 336 g);
- Gain of the foliage weight, in a decade – 35 grams (in 2015 - 53 g);
- Plants density - 101 thousand units per 1 ha (same as in 2015).

According State Statistics Service, sugar confectionery production amounted to 16.1 thousand tons in June 2016, (+ 8.05% compared to last month and +1.26% to June 2015). From the beginning of the year, the total production of sugar confectionery has made 86.6 thousand tons.

Export of water with sugar has decreased to 9 899 tons in June against 10 775 tons exported in May, according to the State Fiscal Service. In January-June the volume of export of water with sugar has made total 47.4 thousand tons.
KAZAKHSTAN
From 12 to 19 July sugar retail price has increased on average by 25.5%, in the regions. The Antimonopoly Committee of Kazakhstan said that it is monitoring the situation.
KYRGYZSTAN
According statistic committee, sugar production in the country amounted to 18 523.4 tons in June 2016, thus total production in January-June 2016 has made 26 832.4 tons.
