RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, wholesale price of sugar has decreased by 1.5%, retail – increased by 0.8% in the period July 5 to 11 2016.

The auction to sell property of «Karlamansky sugar», scheduled for June 14, 2016, was declared invalid due to admission of only one applicant.
UKRAINE
As of July 15, sugar mills sell sugar at wholesale price of UAH 12.60-13.10/kg (in the range RUR 32.30- 33.58/kg at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (CBR)). In a week the minimum price of sugar fell by 2.3%, while the maximum – by 0.76%, according to Ukrtsukor.
KAZAKHSTAN
Agitation at the sugar retail market in the east of Kazakhstan goes on, in spite of all demands from the executive and antitrust authorities to "stop price chaos". Refined sugar began to melt from retailers a couple of weeks ago, and where it happens to appear, the price gradually increases from 260 Tenge (RUR 48.43 - Sugar.Ru) to 410 Tenge (RUR 76.37) per 1 kg as of morning, July 18. In a number of Ust-Kamenogorsk shops (a regional center), today sugar has emerged as expensive as 450 Tenge (RUR 83.82) per 1 kg. Karaganda failed to eliminate the shortage of refined sugar, despite the intervention of the commodity product from the stabilization fund in the amount of 150 tons.

According to the Statistic Committee of Kazakhstan, production of sugar and molasses increased by 20.62% in June 2016 and amounted to 46 083 tons (in 2015 – 58 079 tons, in 2014 – 30 214 tons). From the beginning of 2016 the country has produced 214 994 tons of sugar and molasses.
KYRGYZSTAN
Sugar beet crops in the country have increased significantly in 2016 compared to the previous year - by 6.3 thousand hectares, or 2.2 times.

Sugar factory JSC "Kaindy Kant" (Chui region. Kyrgyzstan) has paid taxes totalling 33 815 508.19 Soms to the budget in 2015 (about RUR 31.76 million at the current rate of the CBR).
BELARUS
According statistic committee of Belarus, sugar production in the country amounted to 70.6 thousand tons in June 2016, thus total production in January - June 2016 has made 220 300 MT, which is up 25% compared to the same period in 2015.
