RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated July 12, 2016, total 25 vessels have been nominated to carry 866 150 MT of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 585 400 MT from 17 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to statistic the committee of Kazakhstan, the national production of sugar and molasses have increased by 10.1% in May 2016 and amounted to 38,204 tons (in 2015 – 18 979 tons, in 2014 – 32 076 tons). From the beginning of 2016 the country has produced 168,911 tons of sugar and molasses.
BELARUS
In June 2016 the consumer prices for refined sugar in Belarus have increased by 1.12%; from the beginning of the year - by 13.74%. The average consumer price of sugar equals 15 967 Bel. rubles per 1 kg. (RUR 51.09/kg at the current rate of exchange), the Statistic committee reported.
