RUSSIA
According to official data of the Russian Federal Customs Service, Russia has imported 188.8 thousand MT of raw sugar in January-May 2016 (or less by 52.8% than in 2015.). Import of white sugar to Russia has amounted to 132.6 thousand tons in January - May 2016 (up by 18.1% compared to 2015). The statistics of white sugar imports by FCS includes the estimated number of imports from the CU countries.
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, consumer prices for sugar fell by 2% in the country in June 2016; from the beginning of the year the decrease has made 5.8%; while year-on- year (June 2016 to June 2015) – the growth made 21.5%.

Wholesale prices for sugar continue to increase, according to "Ukrtsukor". On 8 July the sugar mills sell sugar at wholesale price of UAH 12.90-13.20 / kg (about RUR 33.30-34.07 / kg at the current rate of the Central Bank), which is expensive by 1.7% compared to previous week.

The dynamics of development of sugar beet according to "Ukrtsukor" updated July 01, 2016:
• beet root mass – 145 grams (in 2015 - 107 g; in 2014 - 123 g)
• foliage weight - 288 grams (in 2015 - 270 g; in 2014 - 227 g)
• plants density - 102 thousand units per 1 ha (in 2015 – 98 000, in 2014 - 100 000)
MOLDOVA
According to the National Statistic Committee of Moldova, consumer prices for sugar increased by 0.6% in June 2016; from the beginning of the year - by 3.7%; while year-on- year (June 2016 to June 2015) total growth has made 15.1%.
