RUSSIA
According to Rosstat, the volume of wholesale sugar trade has reached 162,113.1 tons in May 2016 (+13.63% from the previous month and down by 43.28% YTD).

According to Rosstat, the sugar stocks in the wholesale trade increased to 91,938.9 tons in May 2016 (+ 10.97% from previous month, down by 44.99% compared to May 2015). These are the minimum reserves in May since 2010.
BELARUS
According to the Federal Customs Service of Belarus, the volume of exports of refined sugar has amounted to 112 000 tons in 4 months (January - April) of 2016, of which 100 000 was received in Russia; 10 thousand tons went to Ukraine. Molasses exports have made 12 500 tons, most shipped to Lithuania (6 500 tons) and Latvia (5.4 thousand tons). Imports of raw sugar in January-April has made 151.5 thousand MT, with major supplies arriving from Brazil (82 000 tons) and Cuba (69 400 tons).
